A Return To Disney Planned

These two love to wear their coats backward.  They crack me up.

Dad sprung the news of a return trip to Disney on Kari, Lindsey, and I on a night we were hanging out at his house.  He wanted to make a special announcement to the grandkids again, so Kari picked up new lanyards for the kids (and me and papa) to put our trading pins on at Disney.  She wrapped them up so nicely!
While the kids were busy opening their presents, papa broke out his goofy hat.

The kids thought it was cool to hook the lanyards together.
So we all had to hook them together.  Henry was concerned that Jeremy did not get a lanyard - he thought that meant that Jer had to stay home.  :)

The girls had a school break, but Henry still had school, so we had a girls day.  I took them shopping and out for lunch - they chose Arby's - they love to use deep voices and say "Arby's, we have the meats!" like the commercials.
We also went to the dollar store so that they could pick out anything in the store!
They each got a balloon.  We bought one for Henry too.
After we picked up Henry from school, we went to Quality and each kid got a vacuum - they love vacuuming the car!
Then we went home and since it was so nice out, we played in the backyard.

Papa was coming for supper, so Henry waited for him with his balloon.

We had a nice weather Saturday with good wind, so we finally got out our kites.
They flew beautifully - it was the perfect amount of wind - not much effort or skill was required to keep them in the air.

That night I went to an Escape Room with friends and we actually escaped!  The room has a 22% success rate and we were only 1 minute off from the record time!  We were pretty pumped.
Henry wasn't feeling well, so he stayed home with me while Jer took the girls to the Outdoor Discovery Center.  It was cold and windy, so it was good that they wore their snow pants - Jer took them on a hike to go see the birds.
They saw a few eagles and even an elk.
We went shopping that night and Henry found a Darth Vader mask that cracked me up.
His flu bug finally knocked him out and he got snuggly.

Kid Quotes:
Stella has been saying some funny potty humor lately.

Stella: Oops!  I have to go to the bathroom - some toots escaped!

Stella: Excuse me, I need to go P-O-P.
We need to keep working on her spelling...
