But the big winner was the tent...Leila is enjoying hoarding all of her new toys (sister too) in there.

She keeps trying to put me in there too, but I don't fit with all of her loot.

Somehow we never got the camera out of the diaper bag at Jer's side's party.

Overall it was a great time celebrating God's goodness and spending time with family.

Santa!

I think Leila likes the idea of Santa, but when she comes within 3 feet of him, that all goes out the window. While we were in line to sit on Santa's lap, she told me she hoped that he would give her a candy cane. I told her I was pretty sure that he would, and wondered if there was anything else she wanted. She said she would tell him that she wanted a barbie doll. When it was our turn, the tears began to fall.

Santa thought it would help if he gave her a candy cane, and one for mama and dada too.

Santa wanted to give her one for Stella too, but she told him that Stella was too little. In the car on the ride home, Leila says, "I liked sitting by Santa." It showed baby girl, it showed :)

Stella 7 Month Pictures

I took Stella to get her 7 month pictures taken at Sears the other day, and she was being a miser with the smiles. Here she has a sneaky eyebrow.

Now she is just bored.

Ok, fine, I will look at the camera.

Yeah, That Just Happened.

The day had been going well, until we managed to spill a full cup of carrot applesauce on the floor...at the busiest time of our day.

Christmas is Coming!

I had to get a picture of Stella in the sleigh under the tree, since I have done it with Leila the last two years. She even smiled for me!

We still take walks when we can, but it is harder with two girls on a freezing cold night, and with no dog needing exercise, it is harder to be motivated.

We have another Red Sox fan in the house!

Leila and I made a craft the other morning, and here she is playing with it by the tree.

November

Since the last post was Halloween and Thanksgiving is tomorrow, it was time to update the blog a bit.

Leila got a book from Great Sue that mentions winking - so Leila is working on mastering it...we have a way to go yet.

It is fun to just laugh with the girls - they are the best at making each other giggle.

I love that Stella can still fall asleep anywhere if she gets too tired - it is so adorable.

She is now 6 months old! Where does the time go?

She is starting to eat baby food now.

Green beans are pretty good.

We have taken a couple of walks now that it is getting colder, but we need to get out more.

Jer stayed home with the girls today and it looks like they had a great time!

I think Stella was waving to me. :)

We finally decided to cut Leila's hair. She had her first cut tonight.

She looks so much older! Thanks Misti - it turned out great.

Happy Halloween!!

Leila was so excited to go trick or treating! She kept telling me that she was not scared of monsters...apparently she knows that there are scary things out and about on Halloween.

She was jumping up and down with excitement as Jeremy was taking this picture.

An alternate costume for both girls was the ladybug - Leila's wasn't quite warm enough and Stella's was too small, but I got a picture anyhow.

Grandma & Grandpa came to watch the girls and got to see them in costume.

Sunday all of the little cousins got their costumes on to trick or treat at Nana & Papa's house.

Lindsey also had seen this online so Stella and Norah each got some pictures inside of a pumpkin with their legs sticking out. It was pretty cold outside, so I am amazed at how well she did.

She is so cute I could just eat her up.

We also got pictures with Ellery - who apparently doesn't like having her picture taken and was told this picture was only of Leila and Stella. :)

The girls are growing up so fast!
