Birthday Party #2

The second installment in the Moo Baa La La La cake series...I am glad we did not have three parties or I would have had to try to make the three singing pigs!
Mama and Leila...yep, still 1!
The weather was beautiful for both parties.
And Leila got to eat twice the cake! :) I think she liked it.

Birthday Party #1

Daddy and Leila by the cake:
Leila's cake has the cow from Moo Baa La La La.
She wasn't sure about the cake at first...
But really enjoyed it!

Happy Birthday Baby!

This is from Tuesday when I watched my sister's kids too...I love how Reid is hoarding books and toys on the chair so Leila won't play with them.
This morning we went for a walk with Nana.
And played with toys.
How old are you today Leila?

Yes, you are one. I can hardly believe how quickly time is moving.

Cry not

I realized the other day that I had always avoided taking pictures of Leila when she was crying. So I took one.
It never lasts very long. Here is one that I love - she is so happy...too bad she was just practicing spitting with her tongue and has drool everywhere.
This one is great, I think she was in the middle of saying "Da"
And the lower lip has overtaken the upper.

Socks do not belong on feet

Every time I turn around, Leila is taking her socks off. It does not matter if it is cold or hot.
We got her some more Little People stuff to play with.
Play still consists of a lot of sucking on the pieces, but that is ok.
The first thing to do in order to fall asleep: take off your socks!

Pigs and Ponys

Her hair is getting longer and starting to get in her eyes, so I have started putting it in ponytails and pigtails.
And the latest thing is sticking out her tongue while she concentrates.

After the ponytail comes out, we get a nice 'do.
But they sure are cute!
She likes playing with her little people dollhouse, her favorite thing is flushing the toilet.

Tip Toe...

Leila came down to watch Mama dutch dance this morning.
She enjoyed watching the dancers from Daddy's shoulders - I love that she has found a hand hold :)
Leila all dressed up in her dutch costume by the tulips.
It wasn't a happy time - it was almost bedtime, but this cry almost looks like a smile!
