Leila shot the rabbit in the eye

She really had it out for that rabbit.
Slingshots were next
Then tomahawks
Papa's friend - gypsy moth caterpillar - they were EVERYWHERE.  It sounded like it was raining in the woods, but it was actually caterpillar poop falling.  Blech.
Next was shooting.  The gun was a bit big for Henry.

But he still managed to hit his target.

Crazy hammock fun with Greta and Henry

Sparklers!
Papa making his 'Famous World Eggs'

On the way to rock climbing
Leila started on the medium wall
So did Henry
Leila made it to the top of the hard wall!
Stella climbing way up there!

All of the kids in one hammock

Henry's frozen treat!

It's raining it's pouring - time to go to the pavilion and play cards!

Leila, Abby, Kari, and Lindsey did the high ropes course

Henry was the only one to bring a turtle (and only one other person brought a frog) to the frog and turtle races.  He shared them with all of the other kids.
A group next to us set up camp the day before, got rained on, and packed it in.  The kids did a fine job of gathering their firewood for our camp fire.
Second try is the charm.  After they forgot to send the horse and wagon for the wagon rides one of the nights, Papa and the kids managed to get a ride.

Henry going to soccer camp with Elliot.
Jer's work safety celebration - complete with face painting

And slushies!
And door prizes, oh my!

After water balloons, the kids decided to take a bath together in their suits.  They don't all fit like they used to.

Sparklers!

Oliver missed out on the dune ride last year so Jer and Andy brought a couple of kids along for a ride.

Then we hiked up the dune

And relaxed at the pool.

We went to Michigan's Adventure for the day during our trip because Jer's work sponsored the outing.
Coaster Hair - Don't Care t-shirts for the kids

Jer and Stella on the corkscrew

Last night of fun
Packing up - I had to take a picture - Jer eyeballed how high to put the tongue of the camper and then backed up the van and the hitch is a hair under it.  I could never do that in a million years.

Stella's eye therapy graduation photo with Doctor Neil and Miss Sarah.
Stella jumping for joy to be completely finished with eye therapy after her final recheck.

Hoffmaster camping trip
Jer and Henry checked out the beach the first night
The kids digging holes

The trees that fell last year in the background

Kubb - a game that a family from church brought along.  The kids couldn't get enough.

Playing Disney's Color Brain
More Kubb
Craft time!

Sailing the boats they made at craft time
Brent brought a toy for the kids to play with - it was a hit!

I ordered a small ice cream cone at a place with outrageous serving sizes.

Jer's 43rd birthday!
Ken took us out on his new boat.

Watching the delayed summer Olympics - Henry got out his flag to cheer them on.
