More Summer and Conference Grounds

 We had a play date at Kollen Park with Henry's friend from daycare.

 Stella was feeding the dinosaur!

 Jeremy turned 40!!  They even decorated his office for him :)

 I gave them both haircuts - Stella told Henry - you look like a new man!

 We camped at the Conference Grounds with my family again this year.

 The kids spent a lot of time washing rocks.

 After they were all showered after playing at the beach, Stella read a book to Henry and Zoe.

 We were there during praise and music week, so the kids participated in bell ringing

 They also did can jam - Henry did boomwhackers and Stella, Norah, and Greta did shakers.

 Stella and Zoe helped each other clean s'mores off from each other's faces.

 Aunt Lindsey got the honor of pulling Stella's first tooth!  She paid her a dollar to let her do it.

 The kids go to Bible school during the week - it is nice to have an hour of adult time!

 One of the days there were really big waves to swim in.

 Jer and I took a nice walk on the beach on Friday.

 Jer and Leila went to explore the ships during Coast Guard in Grand Haven.

 Leila did not like the Mountie's scratchy coat!  I bet he liked it even less with the heat!

 Papa did water balloons with the kids on the last afternoon.

 Final bell practice.

 We played mini golf.  Stella plays just like Grandma Isla did - never waiting for the ball to stop, just hitting it again.

Henry: Mom, your legs feel like hot dogs. (Apparently my sunscreen made them feel greasy!)

Jeremy was taking collection at church.
Henry: What is dad doing?
Me: Dad is a deacon, he is collecting the money.
Henry: Does he get to keep it?!?!

Driving to Papa's house...
Stella: Veteran! That is a veteran's house!
I turn to look - their garbage bin says Veteran's Disposal.

Henry: Papa told me we would have time to watch about half a movie, but I took a long nap so it wasn't that much.  Maybe two quarters or somethin'.
