Family Vacation

We went on vacation with my family last week and it was so nice to get away! Here is the house we stayed in on Lake Michigan:

This was our little room. Leila slept well, even away from home - what a relief!

This was the view from the patio of the path to the beach.

It was amazing to stay so close to the water and be able to just walk to the beach whenever we wanted.

This is the view of the main room in the house from the loft.

Leila has gained independence in walking over the last couple of weeks.

These are Reid's goggles, and Leila had a good time playing with them.

And what did we find in the water???

A HUGE TURTLE! The shell was the size of a medium pizza!

One of the days Jer, Leila, and I went on our own to a farm market and petting farm.

Leila was scared of all of the animals, but did enjoy saying "Molly" over and over. Apparently goats and sheep look a lot like our beagle to a one year old.

They also had a giant field of sunflowers.

Overall it was a great time away with family!
